Love Saucony

5/5

Overall

I've been a Saucony fan for a good few yrs now as they just seem to be the right fit for me. I've tried several other top brands over the last 20 yrs or so, including asics, new balence, brooks and adidas, but I always end up going back to saucony. I use the Guides for my big miles, and the kinvara for any speedwork or races. They are super light and yet still so responsive and bouncy, because of the excellent cushioning they have. I've found this notable lacking in any racers I've compared these too.( ie asics ds and adidas Bostons etc) and although they are not considered as racers themselves, I don't see why you would need to go lighter, especially if you slightly over pronate like me and welcome a bit of a softer landing. As a lightweight neutral runner, who toe strikes, they give me great freedom of movement, like what you get with a minimalistic shoe, but without losing the cushioning I like to have, after a bit of a battle with planter fasciitis. Simply nothing else on the market compares in my opinion for fit,and performance they are spot on. These are the 3rd version of kinvara I've had and they just seem to improve them everytime, without going too mad. These are even more springy then before and have a better more roomy toe box. Only downside is the styling, although this model is the best looking Kinvara I've seen, it's a shame they just don't look as good as the adidas or nike competitors.

I have had the kinvara through every year. It was my first running. I do moderately high mileage at 90 to 105 mpw. It lasts 7 to 8 weeks. Any longer is pushing it. Fantastic for every workout

Saucany Kinvara

5/5

Overall

The Kinvara has been my shoe of choice for the past 6 years. In the past I have loved the feel but they didn't lasted very long. There new updates have allowed me to get a few 100 more miles out of the shoe. I personally dislike shoes that feel bulky so I enjoy light weight trainers like the Kinvara.

Saucony Kinvara's

4/5

Overall

I have always loved the Kinvara's. They have a decent amount of cushioning, yet they still feel like a quick racing flat. I love logging in miles and doing tempo runs in these shoes. The only fall back is that they wear out relatively quickly. After 300-400 miles there is very little life left in them.
