Nike Pegasus 35 Turbo

Overall

Absolutely love this shoe. It can do absolutely everything. You can chill on easy runs with them, but you can also rip a track workout or a tempo with them. Only cons are that they're pretty expensive, and the durability is ehh. You'll fly through the rubber on the outsole and wind up running on exposed react by about 300 miles. They still will feel pretty good though. I have a little over 400 on mine right now and they still have a ton of pop and life in them.

Easily my favorite shoe yet!

Overall

I picked up the Turbo about 5.5 months ago and have put some significant mileage on them since. Overall, the show is outstanding. The ZoomX foam seems to change as you change speeds (I know it doesn't actually) and is soft when you need it to be but can be very responsive as you turn up the tempo. I had no problems with hot spots as people were mentioning when the show first hit sales. For $240 CAD ($180 USD) I would have liked them to last a little bit longer. About 450-500km (280-310 miles) I was already starting to feel the show go slightly flat especially under the forefoot. Other than this however, I have no complaints about the shoe. If you are looking for a shoe that can get you through the daily miles and work for some higher tempo stuff as well this would be the first show I'd recommend!

Probably the best pegasus since 2004

Instantly noticed the superiority of the Zoomx cushioning over every other Nike midsole I've run in. Versatile shoe that can handle almost anything. Running on my third pair now. First pair I took through an Edmonton winter and it was tremendous.

A very good all-rounder

Overall

This shoe has been great for training, but also for races, and helped me score a few PBs on the way. It is extremely comfortable without feeling heavy. Seems solid too, and is showing no signs of wear and tear after 300km. Slightly pricey, but if you look around you can pick it up more cheaply than the full price. I've even ordered a second pair.

Overall

the shoe claims to give 85% energy return with each step, and it felt like it. the midsole is a mix between the react and zoom foams, and overall is pretty good. it feels very fast, but only wear it for training, and works well for interval runs. the stripe going down the middle does not help at all though, and it rubs against your foot, which can cause pain. the toe box is also a bit narrow, and i have wide feet so that did not feel good. the heel cup was actually very nice and had good comfort. it had standard lacing and the mesh around the shoe is a very light metal called flywire, and it makes the shoe a lot lighter and more breathable. but it also makes the shoe a bit less durable and it can wear out. Lastly, theres the heel fin. it doesn't really affect the shoe a whole lot, and it looks good. but if it gets stepped on the foam can seperate, which may cause issues. in my experience it only very slightly seperated the foam, and didn't affect it a whole lot. overall the shoe basically rides with you, and it feels amazing and bouncy. the drawbacks are the stripe down the middle, it runs a bit narrow, and the heel fin can cause seperation in the shoe.
