Illegal amounts of bouncy cushion

Overall

I went through two pairs of the original PrimeX Strung. They didn't really wear out, as much as the forefoot wore down to a point where it was off camber and awkward. (I'm 163lb and land mainly midfoot to forefoot.) The PrimeX offered little for stability and lots in responsive cushioning. In contrast, the Prime X2 feels like a wider, more predictable forefoot, and still maintains nearly all that bouncy ride. I love these shoes for longer tempo runs and runs up to marathon pace. I don't love them for anything faster than that. I'll get another pair of these as soon as I can snag them on sale again.
