Good cushioned shoe for severe bunion

5/5

Overall

I have been running in the Bondi 6 for about 2 years. I was looking for a shoe that would reduce the discomfort from a severe bunion that I have. I read another review that discussed the cushioning (maximal) of the Bondi 6. My pain is on the bottom of my foot not the bunion and I do have custom orthotics. I have been very happy with how my feet feel in the shoe. I have run multiple half marathons and am even going to try a marathon again due to the performance of the shoe.

Hoka One One - Bondi 6

5/5

Overall

The Bondi 6 is similar to other Bondi's in the past. I like the "wide" offering the most. For everyday shoe it is certainly good but for a long-distance and marathon shoe I love the cushion and room in the wide.

Can't beat the cushion

5/5

Overall

I am a master's runner (F/47) and find that the soles of my feet tend to be prime to aching. I'm not sure if it's early plantar fasciitis or just achey old feet from running regularly! I've tried several other high cushion shoes and nothing has compared to the pillow ride of the Hoka Bondi.

Love the Wide version of the Bondi 6

5/5

Overall

Have been running in Hokas for quite some time. Before the wide versions came out I would often get toe blowout at may 3-400 miles. Took several runs until they stretched a bit to actually not feel to constrictive. The new Bondi 6's in wide are perfect for me. The cushioning is good, the feel of the meat rocker is not as pronounced as in other versions which I don't like as much. Overall a very good training shoe.
