Bad shoe

It has zero forefoot support and has a really high drop. It feels like a brick and has very little comfort or cushioning. They aren't good for any pace. The durability isn't great, either.

Pegasus 41

4/5

Overall

It is very easy to find this shoe on clearance, especially on ebay.com or a Nike Clearance Outlet if you have one nearby. It is not the best trainer in the world but it is very solid and gets the job done at a variety of paces. I have worn at least ten pairs on the Pegasus 41 and will continue to wear them.

Good Old School Shoe But Horrendous Outsole Durability

4/5

Overall

I am a mild heel striker. I bought these shoes because they didn't have a rocker and I wanted to strengthen my feet to ward off plantar fasciitis. They've done a good job at that.

They aren't cushioned or responsive, they're just basic. They're a very early 2000s running shoe.

But at just 60 miles, the rubber in the heel is starting to wear through to the midsole. The lugs on the heel were complete worn away after just a couple runs. The upper is nice. The Air bags are protective if not supportive. And the shoe fits well. The irony of all this, the midsole seems like it'd last forever!

I bought it for $83 so the value is great.
