Zoom Flyin'

4/5

Overall

I love this shoe! The react cushioning and the carbon fiber plate begs to be used for fast runs, in my opinion. The flyknit feel awesome but this shoe definitely needs some flywire. It's not meant to be used on tight turns. Hence the reason I use them for my speed workouts.

The Zoom Fly Flyknit is a great running shoe. Very comfortable and good for longer runs. My only complaints about them are that they are a little too heavy for my liking and that they are a little wide. I have to tie the laces almost as tight as I can to get the lock down feel. Besides that they are amazing you will feel like your walking on air.

Great shoe for tempo runs & racing

4/5

Overall

I picked these up after watching a Kufuzi review and needing something lighter than my heavy New Balance 1080 (8). Immediately, I noticed that without increasing my effort, my time for the 1st mile of my run (uphill) was faster by almost 30 seconds. The carbon plate is not a gimmick and the mid sole cushioning was very good. The fly knit material was very comfortable. My only issue was that when I would go on runs of 6-10 miles, the bottom of my right heel got pretty sore. This is the version 2 which is now going on sale now that version 3 is out.

Nike Zoom Flyknit

4/5

Overall

With the Nike Zoom Fly Flyknit's Carbon Plate Addition this shoe almost performs equally to the 4%. Apart from the slightly heavier react foam used for the Zoom Flyknit I personally prefer the slightly wider platform, roomier toebox and security in corners this shoe provides compared to the 4%. With a pricetag of AU $220 it also leaves a little more money in your wallet than the overpriced 4%...
