How it ranks
The Nike ZoomX Dragonfly Spikes is one of the strongest track spikes in our data. Looks and value are its strongest sub-ratings. The rating is based on 32 runner reviews and 3 other rated shoes in the Dragonfly product line.
Confidence
How settled the rating is against every other rated shoe. A shoe can rate high on confidence with relatively few reviews of its own when its product line has a long record and external ratings from retailer sites agree. Confidence is low when we have few ratings or when runners disagree.

External retailer ratings
We break apart ratings from mass-market retailers and specialty running shops since they serve different audiences.
The middle of the bar marks the typical shoe at each type of retailer. The dot shows where this shoe ranks in comparison.
We’re waiting for more external rating data to become available.
Based on
The bars show roughly how much each source contributes to this shoe’s rating. Their influence depends on how many reviews we’ve collected, how many earlier versions are in the product line, and the external ratings available.
“I've run about 30 miles in them and they feel the same”
“Extremely cushioned and comfortable, more so than the air zoom victories”
“The midsole is super responsive and propulsive”
“Foam kinda wears out a bit, so don't train in unless training on grass”
“The amount of cushion is unusual for a spike but it feels great”
“The upper is very breathable and if you wanted to, you could go sockless with this spike”
“They don't absolutely destroy your legs”
“The fit is quite snug in the forefoot which can make this shoe hard to put on without loosening the laces a bit”
“They're relatively expensive but worth it”
“It kind of forces you to run up on your heels”
“The laces do sometimes dig into the top of the foot where I tie them”
“I do not find it aggressive enough for the 1500m”
“Expected durability: 2 or 3 seasons”
“$150 is a little steep”
“Sleek, lightweight, comfortable, and good footing”
