How it ranks
The Saucony Ride 6 trails most daily trainers in our data. Value and cushioning are its strongest sub-ratings. The rating is based on 40 runner reviews and 10 other rated shoes in the Ride product line.
Confidence
How settled the rating is against every other rated shoe. A shoe can rate high on confidence with relatively few reviews of its own when its product line has a long record and external ratings from retailer sites agree. Confidence is low when we have few ratings or when runners disagree.
Confidence
97 Very high
Based on
The bars show roughly how much each source contributes to this shoe’s rating. Their influence depends on how many reviews we’ve collected, how many earlier versions are in the product line, and the external ratings available.
“A great cushioned shoe that places more emphasis on forefoot cushioning and manages to avoid feeling clunky”
“My bony heel has a tendency to puncture the liner at about 200 miles”
“After 300 miles, I can feel the cushioning wearing out”

“Not as soft as I wanted coming from Nike Pegasus but feels faster which is good”
“The laces come untied easily”
“It's a bit heavier than my ideal for faster running”
“It's comfortable for my medium arch, neutral feet and light frame”
“The traction wears down pretty quickly”
“Very comfortable, but still looking for a shoe that fits my foot better”
“Good, but not breathable enough”
“I would prefer a couple extra mm in the heel”
“I put about 400 miles on each pair and then replace with the same”
“Too heavy for racing”
“They have a lot of cushioning so are my go to if my feet are sore”
“It's been a good match. Neutral, adequate support.”
“Wouldn't consider racing in it, but very good for practice purposes”
“It is better for my achilles tendon”
“Durability is strong”
“Have run about 200 miles in them and have had no issues with them”
“Pretty basic cushioned shoe”
