How it ranks
The Saucony Triumph 21 is one of the strongest daily trainers in our data. Comfort and cushioning are its strongest sub-ratings. The rating is based on 34 runner reviews and 8 other rated shoes in the Triumph product line.
Confidence
How settled the rating is against every other rated shoe. A shoe can rate high on confidence with relatively few reviews of its own when its product line has a long record and external ratings from retailer sites agree. Confidence is low when we have few ratings or when runners disagree.

External retailer ratings
We break apart ratings from mass-market retailers and specialty running shops since they serve different audiences.
The middle of the bar marks the typical shoe at each type of retailer. The dot shows where this shoe ranks in comparison.
Based on
The bars show roughly how much each source contributes to this shoe’s rating. Their influence depends on how many reviews we’ve collected, how many earlier versions are in the product line, and the external ratings available.
“Lightweight, cushy, and gives a good ride for long runs or quick tempo workouts.”
“One of the best daily trainers especially for the value; every run is easy and they've held up great.”
“Great cushion but not so max that you feel you can't run fast in it.”
“300–400 miles in and still holding up very well.”
“Great for slow stuff; best kept as a daily trainer, not for speed work.”
“High stack but not too soft—feels like a good trainer with lots of cushion.”
“A good dollar per mile over the lifetime of the shoe.”
“Expensive but no longer durable.”
“Nothing different from the 20, so getting the 20 on sale is a better deal.”
“Supportive underfoot, durable rubber layer, decent traction.”
“As fast as the Saucony Speed.”
“Comfortable, cushioned ride in an attractive, durable package.”
“Responsive and feels fast.”
“Not ideal for workouts.”

I am blown away with the Triumph. It has alot of stack but not too soft so it feels like a good trainer w/ alot of cushion. It is also as fast as my Saucony Speed. Love this shoe
