Reliable, go-to daily trainer

5/5

Overall

I've had these shoes since May 31st. I've logged 62 runs for ~406mis. They remain in as good of condition as when I bought them. A couple of notes for refence:

- I'm 6'2 195-205 in weight. I always rotate these with another daily trainer (usually different brand).

- Marathon PB of 2:47

- I live in urban area so almost every mile is on either payment or turf

- One of the best daily trainers especially for the value, every run is easy - to mod and have held up great

Favorite shoe for easy runs, would recommend

5/5

Overall

Great for slow stuff, but I would keep it as mostly just a daily trainer, nothing fast. Its not cheap, but it's still decent value as it is a comfortable pretty durable shoe.

Oh triumph, oh triumph

5/5

Overall

In the vast landscape of running shoes, the Triumph 21 emerges as a shining beacon of hope amidst Saucony's otherwise dismal offerings. While Saucony stumbles through the murky depths of athletic footwear design like a toddler learning to walk, the Triumph 21 stands tall, a solitary masterpiece in an otherwise chaotic gallery of mediocrity.
Let's not beat around the bush: Saucony's attempts at crafting running shoes, apart from this divine creation, are akin to a chef who somehow manages to ruin a simple bowl of cereal. Their other products, if I may be so bold, are an affront to the very essence of running. If I were held hostage and forced to choose Saucony for my athletic pursuits, I might consider taking my chances with escape.

Now, let's delve into the abyss that is the "run for good" version of the Triumph 21. This so-called eco-friendly iteration is nothing short of a wolf in sheep's clothing, charging the same premium price for a shoe that feels like it was cobbled together from recycled disappointment. The stiff upper and recycled midsole are a testament to Saucony's ability to market environmental consciousness while simultaneously delivering a subpar product.

As for the colorways, let's not kid ourselves. They mostly resemble a failed attempt at abstract art, as if Saucony's design team blindly threw paint at a canvas and called it avant-garde. But, of course, if you're a true runner, you'll dismiss such trivial concerns and focus on the functionality rather than the lackluster aesthetics. Drip, after all, is inconsequential in the grand tapestry of running excellence.

And now, the lamentable departure of Ben True – the once stalwart pillar of hope for Saucony. His absence leaves a void that not even the Triumph 21 can completely fill. Asics, in a shrewd move, has snatched a gem from the crumbling ruins of Saucony's reputation. The big wigs at Saucony would do well to pick up the phone and dial my number, seeking guidance to rectify their myriad scruples before their descent into obscurity becomes irreversible.

In conclusion, dear reader, if you seek solace in the realm of running shoes, look no further than the Triumph 21 – a lone phoenix rising from the ashes of Saucony's design misfortunes. The rest of their offerings? Approach with caution, or better yet, sprint away as fast as your Triumph 21-clad feet can carry you.
