I've been running in Brooks Transcend for several years now, & the V is my favorite yet. Spending $160 for a superb, comfortable shoe is a bargain.

Good but too bulky

Solid training shoe. Soles feel like they handle lots of miles. However, the thickness increases risk of turning ankles, and feels bulky. Not something I'd want to race in.

Brooks does it again with transcend 5

5/5

Overall

Brooks Transcend 5 is an amazing shoe for anyone that overpronates. I’ve tried several shoes in the past due to having flat feet and this one does it for me. It’s very comparable to the Beasts but lighter, which is a plus. With a hefty price tag this shoe is worth it.
