Excellent for recovery runs.

4/5

Overall

Despite the ultraboosts' being known as more of a 'style' focused shoe, Adidas has gone back towards the performance side and incorporated features from the Ultraboost 19s and 1.0 to create a shoe that appeals to runners. Personally, I find speedwork quite difficult in these shoes but the cushion of BOOST provides for a smooth ride for slower runs. Responsiveness isn't terrible, its not too heavy, and it still maintains its style.

Long time Pegasus user

5/5

Overall

I have used about every model of Pegasus since 2003. I was a faithful Adidas user early-on and then they started tweaking the original Boston; I moved to the Supernova Cushion abd it disappeared. In all seriousness, I bought the Ultraboost (whatever they are doing in space) because I was intrigued by what they said in the advertising. I went for a run and I was very pleased with how comfortable and responsive they were. The shoe is comfortable and has just the right stiffness and responsiveness that I (personally) like and look for. The upper is very comfortable and flexible. My only complaint is that they are extremely expensive; hopefully Adidas will do something about that. I would have no problem changing shows if they are 179€.
