Solid purchase especially because they're cheap now

Overall

I had my pair for quite a while and they were pretty nice for tempo work and I even busted out some fast intervals on the track in them. I found them very uncomfortable after about an hour of running and wouldn't use them for long runs. The heel on mine started to fall apart before the foam or the rubber did and I'm not sure if that's because of how my foot specifically fit in the shoe or if it was a build quality issue. Nonetheless it still lasted about 450 miles before becoming dangerous (injury causing) to wear. The energy return on these shoes was pretty weak too but at a relatively low weight I would probably buy again especially because I've seen them really cheap (

Great look and feel but...

Overall

I am really happy with the Nike Zoom cushioning. It feels great on runs from 1k to HM distance. But the very high “tail” of the shoe made me feel uncomfortable at the beginning. I had some shoved off skin at the back of my feet when running on the treadmill. But when running outdoors it was really not a problem at all.
