Great cushioning to train but not to sprint

Overall

I purchased these extremely cushioned shoes because I was experiencing feet pain that made it debilitating to just walk. These shoes enabled me to run again even if slowly with less pain. Now that my feet are better, I use the shoes for most of my daily run days to prevent further wear and tear of my feet. I realize the shoes however don't perform the best for speed workouts or race days. There is so much cushioning that it dampens speed. Still these shoes brought my feet back to life when I thought I running was no longer a possibility for me. I am grateful for them.
