How settled the rating is against every other rated shoe. A shoe can rate high on confidence with relatively few reviews of its own when its product line has a long record and external ratings from retailer sites agree. Confidence will score low when we have few ratings or when runners disagree.

Good Value, Mediocre Shoe

3/5

Overall

Having run 100 miles in these shoes, I can not complete a thorough evaluation of them. That being said, the high drop of these shoes makes them somewhat awkward for a mid-forefoot runner, as lower drop shoes would make the drop feel more natural. I never quite got the feeling of really running fast and smooth in these, even on a 5:18 1600m repeat or while finishing off a run fast. The upper shows potential for a hole around the small toe region and the heel is a little loose even with heel lock. Traction is ok, but overall it is a middle of the line shoe. It gets the job done, but that's about it.
