Overall

I've had a bad experience while running in this shoe, though I don't know if it is entirely to do with the shoe. I developed shin pain and had to take significant time off of running. I don't credit that entirely to the shoe but changing from the previous model I wore, I noticed a few things about the shoe that stood out. The shoe is pretty stiff and somewhat narrow. It is not a great shoe for trail running,but is okay for the roads and tempo work on the track. It is fairly light. The upper is breathable. The bottom of the shoe wears down kind of slow, which is nice. This is a decent shoe, but I'm going to be exploring other options with my next running shoe.

70 mpw training for a half marathon came from the New Balance 870 v4
