Pros

  • Reviewers like the ground feel and the room to splay their toes.
  • One reviewer calls the sole impenetrable and says it protects the foot well.

Cons

  • The one reviewer who rated cushioning gives it 1 out of 5, which a 3mm stack makes unsurprising.
  • One reviewer says the upper is vulnerable to holes and tears, as on many minimalist shoes.
  • Value draws 3.5 out of 5, the lowest of the rated dimensions.

Feel the Earth

4/5

Overall

I've long given up trying to run fast, if I was 30 years younger, would I look at the over cushioned carbon rocket shoes, I don't know: But what I do know is this, I like the feel of the ground under my feet, I like putting my foot down and it doing what I want it to do. there is no bounce, when running you are hitting the ground and you aren't waiting for the shoe to bounce you forward, you are running like God intended.

Overall

When I bought this shoe I was looking for something that would mimic barefoot running and have plenty of room in the toe box. Essentially, I bought the shoe because all the sole does is protect the foot from scratches and it had plenty of room to splay my toes. This shoe perfectly served my purposes. The sole is impenetrable, and greatly protects your feet. The only reason I did not give it better marks is because, like many minimalist shoes, the upper is vulnerable to holes and tears. Other than that, it is a tremendous shoe; it just lets the foot be a foot.
