How it ranks
The adidas Solar Glide trails most daily trainers in our data. Looks and durability are its strongest sub-ratings. The rating rests on 6 runner reviews and 2 other rated shoes in the Solar Glide product line. Another 6 reviews would set the confidence on this shoe's own reviews.
Confidence
How settled the rating is against every other rated shoe. A shoe can rate high on confidence with relatively few reviews of its own when its product line has a long record and external ratings from retailer sites agree. Confidence will score low when we have few ratings or when runners disagree.
Confidence
65/100
“Great for slow runs, but difficult when I want to run faster”
“Stretches a lot but gives your foot room to spread out”
“So breathable that there is little water resistance—socks end up soaked near the ends with dew”
“Weight is noticeable at faster paces and late in runs”
“Feel a bit unwieldy, floppy and smooshy”
“Right amount of boost, nice wide forefoot”
“Cushioning is great, and the combo of Boost and EPA rails is very effective”
“Good side rails to prevent sloppiness that the super comfortable upper might allow”
“Would not want to go fast in this shoe”
