How it ranks
The ASICS GEL-Lyte 33 3 trails most daily trainers in our data. Value and cushioning are its strongest sub-ratings. Durability scores well below its other sub-ratings. The rating is based on 18 runner reviews and 1 other rated shoe in the GEL-Lyte product line.
Confidence
How settled the rating is against every other rated shoe. A shoe can rate high on confidence with relatively few reviews of its own when its product line has a long record and external ratings from retailer sites agree. Confidence is low when we have few ratings or when runners disagree.

“I love that they are flexible, light, and when you tie them they offer plenty of midfoot support.”
“It has good cushion, a low heel drop, light and breathable.”

“The upper starts coming apart after 350 to 400 miles.”
“My biggest pet peeve with this shoe is that rocks get wedged in the heel almost every time I run in them.”
“Low heel-toe drop makes this run more like a racing flat.”
“I've managed to get ~250 miles of asphalt road running averaged over three pairs.”
“I like how light the shoe is and how roomy the toe box is.”
“It's a little heavy for me and I've gotten a little more injured than normal with it.”
