Neutral shoe with lots of cushion. Works well for early 40's runner that is large (6'2" 180). One knock is the weight. If I could find same comfort and cushion in a lighter shoe that would be ideal.

I've been wearing the Asics Nimbus for about 10 years, and still consider them "my shoe," even though I switched to Minzuno (just to try them out). One reason for the switch is that the price has kept creeping up (and my weekly mileage has been creeping down).

Overall

I've run in Nimbus' for probably 10+ years. A solid neutral shoe that provides cushioning for my 6' frame. I also appreciate that the changes from year to year are not too significant so my body doesn't have to get used to a new shoe. Also never had a problem with durability either. Quality shoe. But you pay for quality as well, these are shoes always seem to be at the upper end of the price range -- but i find the price to be worth it for the consistent quality.
