Overall

I used to wear Kayano's exclusively since running in college (~15 years ago), though developed plantar fascitis while training for Reach the Beach (Ragnar Relay) late last year. After discussing with a podiatrist, I tried the Gel-Quantum Shift, which I believe is better suited for my foot strike (underpronation). The plantar pain went away with some treatment and the shoe switch. The only issue is these shoe tend to squeak a lot (perhaps due to the cushioning material on sole), which is terribly annoying.
