Overall

I would always recommend Asics, they are a great shoe company specializing in shoes made for distance running. This particular shoe was comfortable as usual but I found that this particular shoe easily was showing wear and breakdown quicker than any shoe I have previously bought. Still recommend Asics, Great Company!!

I have had 5 pairs of these with no problem. The version GT-1000 3 is slightly different and causes progressive foot pain.

A little shorter in the toe than the previous model I had (1160) and narrower in the toe. I went up a size and still a bit short and narrow.

Decent, affordable trainer. Light weight. Breathable. More economical than the GT-2000, but with less cushioning.
