sneaky good daily trainer

Overall

The TRI 14s are a great uptempo trainer. They are super lightweight and responsive but contain enough cushion for summer long runs. I used them for a majority of summer training and they didn’t lose too much pop after 300+ miles. The minimal outsole might create grip issues on frozen roads or technical trails but I personally found no issue. Great value for the cost, plus some sick colorways.

Reliable daily trainer

Overall

These shoes have a super confortable upper that locks the foot in very nicely. They have a semi roomy toe box and standard width throughout the mid foot and heel. The flytefoam midsole is comfortable without being overly plush or firm. The rocker geometry mixed with low weight make this shoe feel very smooth and efficient while running. The midsole stack is low compared to most shoes nowadays so they aren't great for long runs however some can definitely handle it if they have strong legs and efficient form.

Not super durable but as a chubby 30 something who just fatty jogs these days they're 10/10 for absorbing impact and protecting these joints

Super toe box. Not too squishy a middle. Good, but not great sole. Feels wonderful running.  Good for all types of running.
