How it ranks
The Brooks Hyperion 2 ranks among the stronger daily trainers in our data. Value and comfort are its strongest sub-ratings. The rating rests on 7 runner reviews and 4 other rated shoes in the Hyperion product line. Another 5 reviews would set the confidence on this shoe's own reviews.
Confidence
How settled the rating is against every other rated shoe. A shoe can rate high on confidence with relatively few reviews of its own when its product line has a long record and external ratings from retailer sites agree. Confidence will score low when we have few ratings or when runners disagree.
Confidence
78/100
“Light and responsive for speedwork on the track or grass, but also cushioned enough to use for lots of easy miles.”
“Cushioned enough for longer runs but responsive and light enough for tempo type workouts.”
“Keeps the legs healthy while not going overboard with too much modern crap that leaves you weak in some areas.”
“Foot is closer to the ground in this shoe.”
“Lightweight yet provides the support that I need.”

No nonsense workhorse do-it-all shoe. Light and responsive for speedwork on the track or grass, but also cushioned enough to use for lots of easy miles. Keeps the legs healthy while not going overboard with too much modern crap that leaves you weak in some areas.

Love that the foot is closer to the ground in this shoe. Lightweight trainer I used daily that was cushioned enough for longer runs but responsive and light enough for tempo type workouts. I love this shoe.
