At 6.9 oz for both sexes it is light for a stability trainer, as reviewers repeatedly note.
Reviewers describe a snug, glove-like fit that needs no breaking in, one running comfortably in them from the first mile.
Several reviewers came to it with IT band or Achilles trouble and say it resolved the problem.

Overall

Lightweight, comfortable and durable. I had been running in the mizuno elixir for several years and really liked it, but the pure cadence has converted me. I prefer the heel drop, less motion control and weight that the pure cadence provides when compared to the elixir.
