Flexible, As a Running Shoe Should Be

The last version of the PureConnect, the (4) is my go-to, though aging, running shoe. It is flexible, my primary requirement for a running shoe, but isn't too minimalist, which fits my not-perfect running form nicely.
I have wide feet, but wide in the midfoot, which makes finding a decent fit in a shoe difficult. Even with the midfoot strap that can be somewhat restrictive without thin socks, these are among the best fitting running shoes I've found. The toe box is sufficiently wide with a slipper-like upper that gives just enough to be comfortable while minimizing relative motion between shoe and foot/sock.
