Clayton 2 vs Mach

Anonymous runner · Jul 24, 2019

4/5

Overall

The Mach was supposed to take out the Clayton 2 (which was not much of a change for me from the Clayton 1), but I keep coming back to run in the Clayton 2 over the Mach. The Clayton seems to have more of a natural rocker to it which I can really sense compared to the flatter Mach. The Mach is super comfortable, but just doesn't roll as smoothly as the Clayton. It seems to land flat, with a "thwap thwap thwap" that I can hear and feel - no other shoe I have does this!

Great fatigue resistance

zimbie_z · Jul 23, 2019

5/5

Overall

Better fatigue resistance than any other shoe because of the cushioning and the light weight. Great training shoe, great marathon shoe. 700+ miles and still going as a rotation shoe.

Solid Lightweight Trainer

The Duke · Oct 1, 2018

4/5

Overall

This is a solid, lightweight trainer that is also beefy enough to hold up to quicker long runs. Ran Boston in them and they worked fine. Not recommended for serious overpronators, as these have little support.
