Like it for the cushioning as my feet often feel arthritic. Also like that they come in wide widths, but even the 2E sometimes feels too compressed on runs longer than 10 miles.

Awkward Fit

3/5

Overall

It might be coincidence, but...I was training for a marathon with about six weeks to go. I bought the Clifton 4 and liked the comfort. It did feel a little awkward under my arch, but I thought it would go away after running on it for awhile. After running with this shoe about five times, I sustained a major upper calf injury. I've had to cancel my marathon plans and am now seeing a physical therapist.

Surprisingly light and fast for such a bulky looking sole

5/5

Overall

I'm usually training (40 to 50 mpw) in a New Balance 1080 with a big drop (12mm?) to protect my touchy achilles tendon. But these are very kind to my legs. And the curved or semi-curved last allows a clean toe off for faster running also.
