Holds up for longer efforts. Recently ran a marathon in them and it’s the best my feet have ever felt after.

1080s but with Stability

5/5

Overall

If your feet overpronate this shoe will be better than the 1080s. Running around 65 miles a week I developed shin splints and later a tibial stress fracture because I had pretty bad overpronation running in the 1080s (although I loved those shoes). These shoes do a good job to reduce that overpronation and save my shins. Have a similar look and feel to the 1080s just a bit stiffer to provide stability.

NB Vongo

5/5

Overall

I’m an old runner with a lot of miles on the legs.   The Vongo provides the support and cushioning I need. I wish they’d been around when I was doing big miles.

Heavy but good training shoe

4/5

Overall

I wear these for warmups, cooldowns, long runs, recovery runs, basically 80% of my mileage. They're very supportive and comfortable but quite heavy, so I don't use them for any uptempo work.
