Pros

  • Four reviewers report 600 miles or more from a pair, one of them 700.
  • Two reviewers describe a firm ride with a responsive forefoot.

Cons

  • Averaging 10.3 oz across the men's and women's builds, it is heavier than the 8.9 oz median for daily trainers on sale, and one reviewer says weight could come out of it without costing anything.
  • One reviewer finds it digs into their arches and is close to unbearable past three miles, and another wants a more comfortable upper.
  • Comfort and value both average 4.0 out of 5 across nine reviews.

Firm support

4/5

Overall

A good supportive every day trainer. I would say it's a firmer show but still well cushioned. Zoom air bag in the forefoot makes the forefoot feel responsive, while the heel feels flat. Upper could be a bit more comfortable, I think they may have made improvements here in the newer 21 model.

I have had 4 pairs of this shoe and have been satisfied with them. I ran about 600 miles on each pair and now use an old pair for work.

Good Overall Shoe, Versatile

Works well for daily training even at high volume. Wears out after a decent amount of running (600ish miles). Don't look amazing but do the job.

Enjoyable Shoe

4/5

Overall

I wore this shoe for much of my cross country season this past fall for easy days and long run. I put upwards of 600 mile in them and they still felt very comfortable and supportive. The upper held up well and maintained a satisfying lock down. The only issue I have is that there are so many places in the shoe where the weight could be decreased and suffer no draw backs of comfort, durability or reliability. I switch between Nike and Brooks most of the time because I enjoy both the Air Zoom and the DNA midsoles. I have gotten another pair of these structures for my track season and so far so good.
