Excellent lightweight trainer...great for speed work...tempos...racing. My only complaint is the toebox is a bit narrow compared to some of the other Nikes I've had.

Overall

Overall the shoe is lightweight and does not have a very hard heel counter, which is important for me. It is lightweight which makes it a little less durable and can be a little uncomfortable on trails. It has a little more exposed foam on the sole than traditional running shoes. Its name does say "tempo" but it is enough shoe for longer runs...14-16 mile runs.
