Fantastic shoe, responsive and cushioned, but narrow

4/5

Overall

Amazing lock down though a tad narrow in the midfoot. Toebox is fine with the right size, the toe-bumper is rigid/hard. Bouncy and responsive as nothing else. Really durable and seems to be able to deal with a lot of miles. Excellent for half marathon and marathon - and for tempotrainings.

Expensive but worth it

4/5

Overall

Takes a while to get used to the feel of these shoes but could really feel the difference in race speed and recovery time. As an older runner ( 70 ) the recovery is a big deal. Simply put these shoes allow me to get back on the road track or trail more quickly.

Not As Good As Vaporfly

4/5

Overall

I've run in a few pairs of Vaporflys, revision 1 and 2. These are bulky. The arch seemed to dig into my foot and needed a lot of breaking in. Moreover, the width of the heel causes me to hit my ankle and cut up the skin there. This is the only shoe this has ever happened to.

Performance benefits seem on par with the Vaporfly, with less comfort and more cost. Not a fan.
