Still light & comfy after 1000 km

Overall

I'm on my second pair of these shoes - I retired my first pair after 1000 km. They weren't visually too worn and I was not noticing any pain from lack of cushioning, although the new pair definitely improved cushioning. I have never had injury issues from running before and therefore wanted a pair of fairly minimal road shoes. These are pretty light, but you don't feel like you're just slapping your feet against the road either. Also appreciated breathability. They might be the most comfortable road shoes I've had, ever.

A pretty harsh shoe

Overall

Over the year I have started to like the increased cushioning of daily trainers such as the Bostons, but I am not at all someone who desires overly soft shoes. I must admit that this model by Salomon goes too far the other way, resulting too harsh and leaving my feet very beat up. I also have some hot spots due to the too shallow toe box. Durability is great and look is ok, but I really would not recommend it to anyone.
