Perfect responsive cushioning for any workout

Anonymous runner · Aug 10, 2019

Overall

I love the midsole of these shoes. They still don't feel too bulky and awkward to handle fast running, yet they're cushioned enough to run long in. Perfect for something like a 10-miler with pickups, where changing shoes isn't an option and you need a shoe that can do both. The upper is super durable; I've had a lot of issues with blowing out the upper on the inside of my shoes, but not with these. The design and appearance of the shoes is really nice imo. For me, the only downside to these shoes is that the forefoot is too narrow for my (somewhat wide) feet, and causes me some foot pain. I need to rotate them with other, wider shoes. A narrow-footed runner should be fine though.

Overall

I would have never thought sketchers would make a good running shoe, but they did. The shoe is light but soft w/ a 6m heel to toe. It is consider a stability shoe, but in the stability category it is mild. The mid foot strike shape gives the shoe a little of a rocker profile. The durability was really good for how light it was. The flight gen cushion lasted through the life of the shoe. I easily got 400 to 500 out of mine. The size was a little off about a 1/2, so If you wear 12.5 order a 12. It is the perfect all around light weight trainer from track work to easy mileage. I used it mostly for longer uptempo work and long track work.

Skechers GOrun Forza 3: Light, fast, cushioned, supportive

Zante · Feb 1, 2018

4/5

Overall

I have about 40 miles in this shoe and I'm really enjoying it so far. Skechers Performance has really come a long way, and you can absolutely tell that they put time, effort, and research into this pair. The outsole is full coverage. It feels like blown rubber, which is a little lighter than typical outsole rubber but makes me question the durability. The midsole is a new mix called Flight Gen, which is pretty similar to adidas Boost and other TPU based foams. It's luxuriously cushioned, but responsive when need be. They've still got the M-strike in this shoe, which makes the transition super fast. The upper is knitted, really stretchy and roomy, with mild support. The lacing system is really great in this shoe -- really everything about the upper is generally unobtrusive. Make sure you tie the laces down tight enough, or your foot might slide a little bit as mine did. The actual supportive element, the triple-density midsole, is really nice. It doesn't get in the way of your natural gait, but it's there if you start to break down a bit. Not many complaints with this shoe, I'm really happy with this so far!
