Under Armour Charged Bandit 4

4/5

Overall

I had used the previous Bandit 3 for a while, and the Bandit 4 was a nice upgrade to that. The upper in the Bandit 4 is all new and is very comfortable. Plus, it looks very clean and timeless. The Bandit 4 uses Under Armour's Charged foam midsole, along with a blown rubber outsole (bottom). Both are very durable.. talking, 400+ miles durable, which for an $80 shoe is ridiculously awesome. In general, it's great for all around use--running long, easy days, tempo runs. It's not a "speed" shoe per say, but I use it quite a bit for fartlek and intervals. Decent weight. Great response, crisp and firm feel on landing and take off. Excellent traction. Nothing that will blow you away overall, but nothing that will do you wrong either. Great shoe.
