Incredible balance between weight and durability - feels light and fast but will hold up for hundreds of miles.

Overall

I call it a lighweight trainer or a heavy racing flat. It's a bit more firm than some other shoes which i think helps it stand up to higher mileage. I usually am pretty comfortable with 500-600 miles on a pair, and the pair I have now I think I have close to 700 on just cause i've been to lazy to order another. It has a pretty sizeable drop (9mm) so it doesn't beat up your calves or achilles, although lowering that to 5mm-ish would make it about perfect in my book. I have long, skinny, low-volume feet so adidas shoes have always worked well for me. Out of the box they can seem a bit rigid and boxy, but after a few days, say 30 miles they're pretty well broken in. The little bit of pronation support helped me over some It issues when I started wearign them and has helped with my form since. I also have a small week arch so I do ear orthoditcs, but the shoe is just as comfortable. Overall it is light and responsive with just the right amount of pronation support. I can do a long run on sunday and keep on pace during mile repeats. Great shoe. Super excited for it to get BOOST-ed in January
