Used for easy/moderate runs and tempo run/cruise intervals. Cushioning faded somewhat quickly but they fit my foot well. The upper has held together very well.

Overall

Great fit in the heel and midfoot (narrow), but too narrow in toe box, even by traditional running shoe standards. I loved it for it's light weight and overall lower-than-average stack height while still being enough for long runs. Wish the midsole was just a tad softer and that the heel-toe ration was 6-8mm instead of 12mm. Otherwise, a solid performance trainer.

I was looking for a trainer on the lighter end. A shoe in which I could feel the ground and provided a snug fit. I have used this shoe for all training: long distance runs up to 50k, tempo work, interval training, trails, roads, everything. I have also raced quite a few marathons in this shoe.

Overall

Light enough without feeling there is nothing underneath my sole. Picked them up up during the off season at a nice discount (comparatively). Before I was in some Adidas Glides and the heel drop just seemed too much and I felt it led to some pretty gnarly IT issues. Saw the Bostons and thought I would give them a shout. Haven't looked back since. I like that there are not any gimmicks to the shoe. Having the shoe be breathable, durable, and pretty comfortable is more than I could ask for. They won't hide when my legs are feeling like one hundred pound boulders when not having a perfect day. I like that. In the future I may experiment with different brands or series but for right now in the foreseeable future I will be lacing up every day with these proven winners.
