Cons

  • Appearance averages 4.3 out of 5, and one reviewer calls the design bland.

Wish I bought them by the bulk!

I first got the 7....and I loved it. Then I got the 8.. I had this shoe 2 x. I read the reviews for the 9 and didn't trust going that route....so I'm still in the 8's. I really wish the shoe companies would not continuously change things up as far as fit. PLENTY of styling amd colors that they could experiment with. (In my humble opinion...)

I’m a light (135lbs) high arched neutral fore foot runner. I get about 800 miles on these and the uppers are amazing! Well worth the cost.

Great Shoe

5/5

Overall

I started wearing this shoe after a stress fracture in my lower tibia. I found out that I pronate mildly which caused my stress fracture. This shoe has helped correct the issue, but my only drawback is the fact that the shoes can only take about 300-400 miles before they are shot.

adidas Supernova Glide 8

5/5

Overall

Adidas needs to bring back the Supernova Glide 8. Incredibly durable. I have over 1000 miles on my pair with plenty of miles still left in the shoe. Not the lightest shoe but is responsive enough when you want to pick up the pace on training runs. I am an over pronator and find this shoe to be supportive and stable. Again, the most impressive quality of this shoe is the durability. The Continental rubber outsole does not wear out, the Boost midsole does not break down. Even the upper shows only minimal wear and tear after 1000 miles. (A slight tear in one of the lace eyelets and a small hole in the inside lining of the heel.) The Supernova Glide 8 is a high performance running shoe that does everything right.
