I have a huge tendemcy to wear out shoes extremely fast due to slight over pronation. The gel nimbus 25 has definately been the longest lasting shoes Ive ever owned. The max cushioning makes runnning feel very bouncy and comfortable. Great shoe for anything from recovery runs to tempo paced, they feel responsive and springy.

Asics has returned to its roots. The Asics Nimbus 25 reminds me of the Asics (Onitsuka) Montreal version of 1980 in fit and feel. N 25, features generous cushioning, and solid durability in terms of life of the trainer. The only improvement, for me, would be modify the tongue of the shoe; I am not a fan of the "uni-fit." Durable for long runs, light enough for uptempo this shoe is great for everyday training. Big plus, it comes in wide width.

This was my second pair of Asics -the first being the Noosa Tri 14, which I also loved- and man, I really don't have anything negative to say. They are incredibly comfortable, it feels like you have a mattress under each foot. I like the weight, the drop, everything. I've done easy 4 mile runs, 10 mile runs, even a couple 15+ mile runs in this shoe and it really feels great. It's a shoe that I completely forget about when I'm running in it...which is exactly what I look for. The only thing I don't like about my specific pair is the color, but I feel obligated to support my local run store and they didn't have many options. Thinking I'll get the 26 next....hoping they didn't change much!
