How it ranks
The ASICS METASPEED Sky+ ranks among the stronger racing shoes in our data. Looks and cushioning are its strongest sub-ratings. Durability scores well below its other sub-ratings. The rating rests on 13 runner reviews.
Confidence
How settled the rating is against every other rated shoe. A shoe can rate high on confidence with relatively few reviews of its own when its product line has a long record and external ratings from retailer sites agree. Confidence will score low when we have few ratings or when runners disagree.

Great energy return due to the carbon plate. Comfortable. Spacious toe box and a nice firm fit. Works great for intervals, 5k, 10k and ultras. Good grip, works on gravel as well. Not suitable for trailrunning.

I was a diehard Nike Alphafly wearer. I switched to these ASICS Meta Speedy Sky and I am feeling much more confident in my speed and endurance. It fits my foot better, which is narrow and long. It's got great rebound. And because this is important to me, it looks great.
