Light, close to minimal, but still cushioned enough to get the job done without any injury. Overall great ride, and you can really feel the ground underneath you in these, even if they aren't as minimal as the PureConnect.

It's a great shoe for short or long distances for me, especially when the pace is uptempo. The low heel drop is perfect because I have a mid-foot strike. I balance this shoe with either the Ghost (7) or the new Nike Elite.

The lacing is a bit funny and hard to get used to. The laces are easy to become very tight and uncomfortable. ALso the upper fabric is too stiff and does not breathe well.
