Look dorky but curred my metatarsal

Anonymous runner · Sep 28, 2025

4/5

Overall

Had a lot of trouble with inflamed metatarsal nothing seemed to work pads anti-inflammatory s, ice Hoka Arahi seemed to fix the problem over a period of weeks its the rocker design. I tried Cliftons but my feet really need more support. They seem to be reasonably durable only downside is the clunky look but I dont do this for fashion

Hoka Arahi for PF issues

Anonymous runner · Sep 28, 2025

4/5

Overall

Being an older Runner with chronic plantar fasciitis for several years, I have been constantly on the hunt for a good stability shoe with plenty of cushion and a rocker bottom. The Arahi is a great shoe for this. The stability enhancements are a welcome improvement over other Hokas, plus the foot platform doesn't feel like your foot is being squeezed at the edges. I especially like the think cushion and the fact that the foot rolls forward.

2nd try with Hoka

ThatAverageRunner · Sep 28, 2025

Overall

I had tried Hoka once in the past, a couple years ago. It was the Bondi 4, and I honestly wasn't a fan. It was too bulky and high, and just felt like my feet were sinking in them. A little over a year later, I'm experimenting with some stability shoes to see if it helps my foot problems, and I've been running in the Nike Structure 21. I wanted something with a little more cushion for a stability shoe, as I was starting to get shin splints from running miles in a shoe as firm as the structure. Found the Arahi on sale on runningwarehouse and decided to give them a try. I'm liking them a lot so far. Good cushioning and not very heavy at all. My only gripe with them was that they were too shallow with the inserts/insoles they came with. I replaced them with my old Adidas Boston insoles and they fit perfectly fine now.

My feet are SO happy!

Kristin · Sep 28, 2025

5/5

Overall

I have really wide feet and a right toe that pokes up too much! At the runner shoe store I had three pairs to choose from. We didn’t even try the last two pairs because my reaction was so favorable that there was no point. The hoka one one arahi is like running on pound cake. They fit my wide foot and my to toe can’t poke a hole within a week of wearing them, as these shoes have no mesh.
