Great trainer

4/5

Overall

This is a great shoe to slodge easy mileage and long runs. Surprisingly, the shoe is extremely light. It is soft and is a great recovery shoe. I came away with blisters on the insides of my feet after my first run in the clifton’s but I believe that’s just the process of adjusting to a new shoe structure. HOKA is a great brand.

Great for big mile weeks

4/5

Overall

I cycle these shoes into my weeks of 60-80 miles. They are great for both my easy days and my longer runs. They last me about 300 miles, but are worth their value.

More positives than negatives

4/5

Overall

I love almost every part of this show, it’s incredibly comfortable and durable, and gives a lot of support for daily training. It’s a bit heavy and doesn’t have a great appearance, but it’s worth it to have the comfort I need.

Toe blisters!

4/5

Overall

A lot of good about this version. A nice upper, less constricting. The midsole has good cushion but a little on the dead side compared to other new midsole compounds. But I got black toenails and blisters on the tip of second and third toes despite trying multiple sock thickness and keeping lacing looser. One of these days they'll get it right like the OG version.

Good Recovery Shoe

5/5

Overall

I primarily use the HOKA ONE ONE Clifton 6 as a recovery shoe, either after hard workouts or for long runs at an easy pace. The shoe has a very comfortable and cushioned feel without compromising responsiveness. Other similar cushion-y shoes can often feel blocky or heavy, but the Clifton really doesn't for the cushion it provides. Also, the color schemes on this shoe are pretty dope (so are the color names).
