Pros

  • Light at 7.8 oz with a 32mm heel stack.
  • Two reviewers use it for tempo days, 5Ks and easy long runs.
  • All three reviewers so far rate value 5 out of 5.

Cons

  • Durability is the weakest dimension at 3.7 out of 5, and one reviewer says the outsole wears quickly, though a pair still goes 300 to 400 miles.

Really solid shoe

5/5

Overall

Coming back from an injury I realized I needed something more cushiony and a friend suggested the rincon. I could only get the 2 but apparently they're almost the same. Anyways, I wore this shoe for my speedier days in season and now I'm using it for my longer days in the offseason and it's held up through everything. Very versatile, sort of a "tweener" shoe. Would 100% buy again.

Hoka rincon 2

5/5

Overall

The hoka rincon 2 is a great all around trainer, it has a insane amount of cushion but, is extremely light weight. It is very responsive and can be used for tempo runs, I would even use it for a 5k race or more. The one con I have with it is the outsole it wears quicker but could easily get 300-400 miles on them. I would definetley recommend these as a daily trainer.
