Simply put, this shoe is perfect for trail running. It is cushioned and fast, with no weaknesses aside from price. I have always felt like I’ve had to choose between speed and comfort with trail shoes, so this pair has been amazing.
The traction in these has been great also. I’ve been up and down a number of 14ers in Colorado with no issue at all.
I put 9:00 for average training speed, but think 12,000’ elevation on serious climbs.
When I have run on the roads in these, they are as fast as my Endorphin Speeds. You can really turn it up, so if you have trail races with any sort of fire road component, these are a great option if you plan to turn it up.
I would recommend these to anyone that isn’t price sensitive, but there are some coupons out there to dull the pain a little.
