Light, soft and simple

5/5

Overall

Loved the Rebel v2 and the v3 is probably even better. I love a lightweight shoe and this one feels so easy to run in. There's plenty of cushion for easy runs, maybe a bit too soft for faster efforts. I tend to use it more for daily miles and recovery runs, it just doesn't feel that fast though I know others use it for up tempo. The cushion doesn't seem to last, it goes a bit flat once the run stretches beyond 16km so I wouldn't use it for long runs.

Soft and fast daily shoe

5/5

Overall

This shoe has a wonderful bounce that makes it a joy to run in. This shoe handles daily runs and workouts up to about 15km, after that it's not as comfortable. I like to use as a non-plated tempo shoe.

versatile everyday shoe

5/5

Overall

If you travel frequently and only have space for one pair of running shoes, the Rebels are a great choice. Light and cushioned, but versatile enough to use for speed work, tempo runs, and longer runs. They have the latest foam technology without the plate. Great value too.

Rebel ain’t no Fastwitch

2/5

Overall

I got the shoe hoping it would be similar to Saucony’s FastTwitch (1 or 2 ‘t’s?), however it ended up being a dud. Not very cushiony (fine) but not very responsive either. So, there’s not much going for it at all.

Just not my shoe

3/5

Overall

I don’t know if its just that I’m used to running in a firmer shoe, but these are so spongy to the point they eventually hurt my Achilles within the first mile and don’t feel any better as the run progresses.
