Newton Gravity 7 - Not much bang for your buck

TrackXC27 · Jul 14, 2018

4/5

Overall

The Newton Gravity 7 is a crazy light weight pair of minimalist shoes that are meant for racing and daily training. The things I liked about the Newton Gravity 7 is that is really light, it fit perfectly and that it was a fast shoe. The shoe fit nice and snug to my feet and I had no issues with shoe slippage. However the upper isn't really that breathable because while using it in the summer heat I felt like my feet were being baked. The shoe makes you run really fast. The design makes you run on your forefoot and land on the lugs which propels you forward. As good as the lugs are though, if you aren't used to them they are going to give you a little bit of pain. Because I wasn't used to minimalist shoes I had forefoot and calf pain.
