A Great shoe for workouts for 800m-5000m

Overall

This shoe is amazing for how much it costs. I have used it 2-3 times a week for some tempos and speed work. The shoe has never failed me even in wet conditions, the waffle outsole is very grippy on the roads, grass and the track.

Best Track Flat on the Market

I love the Streak LT3. Having worn each of its predecessors, I can say this is a substantial update and a very different feeling shoe, but it is 110% better. The best way I can describe it is that it feels like a track spike for the roads. Firm, but with enough cushioning for 10k on the roads (and beyond, for efficient runners), this is the perfect shoe for cross country races with a lot of pavement, or road races of any distance. It is also durable enough to hold up to multiple seasons of track workouts. I hope no one from Nike reads this, but I have no idea why they sell this shoe for such a low price - this is an awesome shoe! Only thing worth noting - I had to go up a half size for this shoe compared to other Nike shoes I have worn (Pegasus, Vomero, Elite, previous versions of the Streak and Streak LT). Other than going up a half size, they fit perfectly.

This shoe was on sale and i needed a new flat for track races. I saw this shoe on sale and i definitely was excited to buy it! it works great for racing anything from the 800 to the 5k on the track or the roads!

Like the fit and it feels very sharp and speedy when I have them on. Nice spring and follow thru is more controlled . Impact is fore foot with nice recoil. Adheres to most all terrain except ice.

Small step up from a track spike

Overall

The Streak LT3 is a good flat, but is very aggressive as far as flats go. Great for races up to 10k, but unless you do a large amount of training in flats/low cushion trainers, I wouldn't recommend racing anything longer than 10k. I typically do one track session per week wearing these shoes, and they are great for longer repeats such as 1,000m or a mile, and are versatile enough they they are very effective for short sprint intervals too. The upper could do a better job locking the foot down, but this isn't a major issue unless you are going around tight turns such as on an undersized indoor track.
