Really Like Vomero 11

Anonymous runner · Sep 28, 2025

5/5

Overall

Been running in stability shoes, mostly Brooks Adrenaline, for decades. Running stores looking at my stride always recommended stability. Always kind of struggled with little heal flare ups for the last 10 years even with custom orthotics. Have high arches but horrendously bad ankles with one doctor wanting to fuse thus the need for stability. Anyway, I bought a pair of Vomeros on sale at outlet for some cushy kick arounds. Just gave them some runs just to try and wow- post run pains start to subside. Really like them and am happy in a running shoe which has not been the case for a long time.

Durable, cushioned high mileage trainer

Overall

Picked a pair up on clearance at my local nike outlet and these have become my go-tos for almost any road running. Not going to win any awards for aesthetics but the ride and cushioning are great, and durable - have about 700km on these and still going strong. Previously had injury issues with achilles and stress fractures but have held up well training in the vomeros.

The Nike Vomero is just a very comfortable shoe to run in. You'll notice it from the moment you slip into it. It is the perfect shoe for easy runs up to marathon pace.
