Zoom Vomero 12--plush

4/5

Overall

This shoe is well padded and extremely comfortable. It's also heavy and slow, but that's OK for easy days. I developed a hamstring injury while wearing this shoe. While I can't say for sure that the shoe was the cause, I rarely become injured

Great mileage shoe

4/5

Overall

I love this shoe for getting in the base miles. It is a tank on the roads and does a great job cushioning on hard surfaces. I am on the heavier side and it still lasts quite a while I am currently at 362 miles. As it has progressed through its life I have found that when there is slightly less cushion it works great for uptempo or tempo shoe. While this shoe works great on the roads the outsole isn't the best on trails. It is fine, especially when dry but the grip isn't as good as the peg 34.

Nike Air Zoom Vomero 12

4/5

Overall

Bought it for long runs because of the lightweight cushioning. From my experience the cushioning is too much and the shoe is not as responsive as I would like. It is not a shoe I would like to run in on a hot day either because the ventilation is poor, my feet get pretty hot inside. Overall a decent shoe but could do better if looking for a shoe for the longer training runs.

Vomero 12 Review

4/5

Overall

These shoes represent a pretty big difference from past Vomeros. The heel is much looser and the upper is less substantial than past versions. Overall the shoe fits looser width wise and I preferred the past versions more.
